About

This blog started as an outlet for me to keep my sanity as a stay-at-home Mom, so many posts are about my daughter.  But as I have, it has evolved into something more…a true antidote to the anxiety that comes with motherhood, divorce, and starting over. Focusing on the things that please my senses makes my world a lot more enjoyable – and my hope is that those things will make yours more enjoyable as well!

So please, read a post (or two, or six!) to please your eyesears, or even your nose, find me on Twitter, Facebook, or drop me a line here.

  1. I know of at least 3 people that will be reading this religiously! It’s a great thing……I think it will be an excellent outlet for you, and alot of information for us who won’t be able to be on the phone with you for more than 3 minutes at a time at the beginning of your adventure into motherhood! I’ll be there for you of course, but it’ll be great to read what you really feel and have the time to put down on paper!

  8. I’m soooooo glad you walked up on the porch and knocked on the door Joy! It seems you are the very special lady in the life of one of my favorite people. I’m so happy for him…and for you too….because if there’s anything Richard has in spades…it’s an abundance of love he wants to share. I’m tickled he’s found the one to share it with he and James. I shall enjoy spending time getting to know you through your writing…my porch is always open, just tell me what you like to drink and it’ll be there when you drop by. Rhonda

  9. Hello.

I’ve nominated you for the Very Inspiring Blogger Award on my latest post.

I don’t know if you’re into such things (it’s OK, if you’re not). Just so you know: by this I mainly wanted to express that I really like to read your blog (I’m also simply curious about 7 facts about you).

Thank you for your great blog posts!
    Kate.

  10. Hey Joy,

I was wondering if you would be willing to help me out with something. Recently, you liked my post, “How to Know You’re Enough!” …on my blog, begintobelieve.com.

It really seemed to resonate with a lot of women; I guess we can all relate to the overwhelming-ness of being female in todays’ society.

Well anyway, back to the favor I was asking.

Because this post resonated with so many, I’ve decide to write an ebook entitled “How to Know You’re Enough!” – The Manual- The Female Edition.

It will be a comprehensive, funny and honest list of everything we do, every day, for everyone, more or less!

Would you be interested in making your list of everything you do, every day, for everyone, more or less, to possibly be included in the book? And If I use any “unique” items on your list, I will include your name as a contributor to the book!

Your list can be anything that takes you time, mind and effort!

So if you’re interested and have questions, you can contact me at rdavis4848@gmail.com or you can just send over your list to the same email address along with your full name and email.

And if you know any other wonderful females that might like to be a part of this event, please feel free to pass it along!

I know you have a lot on your list, so I really appreciate you taking the time. Thanks so much for considering it!
