Our days are full,
our lives are wide
the miles between us,
a great divide.
Though when the stars align just right
we see each other,
our arms clutched tight
around our tribe in warm embrace
We see love’s light in every face
Reminding us of times held dear
Of times gone by,
Of better years.
When more of us required seats,
And so few lay beneath our feet.
But still, the table is quite large
The youngest think that they’re in charge
The middles reminisce and then
They realize time and again
That the oldest watch all with delight –
For everyone, a perfect night.
OMG Joy – that was so beautiful – I am crying like a baby…
