Who doesn’t remember scraping a knee when they were knee-high to a grasshopper? Further to the point, who doesn’t remember the only thing that made it feel better? Nope, not lidocaine, not a band-aid, and certainly not hydrogen peroxide. A kiss from mom!
Really a kiss from anyone who cares makes a person feel better…it’s sweet and kind, all rolled up into one. So …if you see a scrape, be it a physical one, or an emotional bruising on someone you love…a kiss on the cheek or forehead might go a long way to heal it.

Stay tuned during the month of April to see other ways in which you can incorporate kindness into your daily life and encourage others to do the same…I’ll return to my senses on May 1.
This post made me giggle. lol Cute memories and all that… And on an actual scientific note, it turns out that saliva actually does help heal cuts, apparently. Not as cute, but there you have it. lol
